Students can enroll into BISBAS having attained the UTME cut-off mark of 100 or go through the process of regularization to satisfy the requirement for UTME 100 level entry model, plus a 5 O’ level credit in relevant subject including Mathematics and English to get admitted, as follows
- BANKING OPERATION MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATION
The general entry requirements for the National Innovation Diploma (NID) Banking Operation programme are:
Minimum Credit passes in five subjects obtained at maximum of two sittings.
The credit passes should compulsorily include English Language and Mathematics, and any three of the following: economics, commerce, principles of accounts, business methods, literature-in-english, government, history, geography, statistics, agric science and biology.
- COMPUTER SOFTWARE ENGINEERING ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
National Innovation Diploma in Computer Software Engineering The entry requirements into National Innovation Diploma in Computer Software Engineering programme include any of the following:-
Five (5) credit level passes in GCE “O” level or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English language and any other subject.
National Vocational Certificate (NVC, Final) in Computer Studies from an approved Vocational Enterprise Institution (VEI).
- EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE MANAGEMENT ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Five Credits in any five subjects including English and Mathematics.
Entrepreneurship, Communication Skills, and Mathematics are compulsory as General Studies.
All the General Education Courses and the Core – Curriculum Courses on Early childhood care Management must be taken and passed.
- FILM AND TELEVISION PRODUCTION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The general entry requirements for the NID programme are:
Post Secondary School Leavers with 5 Credit level passes in SSCE or equivalent, who are desirous of acquiring relevant employable skills.
Unemployed or under-employed graduates looking for requisite employable skills. c) Employed graduates who desire relevant or additional working skills. d) Those out of school for a long time, in line with Government desire for open access to reskilling and upskilling of the nations workforce as part of Life Long Learning (LLL).
- INNOVATIVE AGRICULTURE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The general entry requirements for the NID programme in agriculture are:
Five credits level passes in WAEC or NECO and NABTEB in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any three of the following:
Geography, Mathematics, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics and English language. At least, a pass in English language and Mathematics is compulsory.
Candidates who have successfully completed the Board’s recognized pre-National diploma (Science Technology) course may be admitted into the programme. Such students must have passed Biology/Agricultural science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English language and any one of the following subjects: Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics and Geography at WASC, SSSC, GCE O’Level or NEW and NABTEB before undertaking the course.
- PARALEGAL STUDIES MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATION
The general entry requirements for the National Innovation Diploma (NID) programme are:
Credits pass in five subjects in the WASC, GCE (“O” Level) or the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations. The credit passes should include English Language. At least a pass in Literature or History is required.
Certificate in Paralegal Studies (at Credit level) with not less than two years working experience plus four passes in GCE (O/L) or its equivalent.
Tuition fee for 1st and 2nd year is 50 percent of the regular school fees for the selected programme.
Students are awarded Diploma after 2 years and can enroll in 200 level by obtaining UTME Direct entry forms in the selected degree programmes.
