The school of Basic and Applied Studies has gone into a robust partnership with the National Business and Technical Board (NABTEB). This collaboration was facilitated at a meeting between both parties at the university recently.
Speaking with the Management of BISBAS, the Edo State coordinator of NABTEB, Mrs. Bose Ikheloa, who took time to run through the activities of NABTEB, noted that the board was indeed glad to collaborate with the School of Basic and Applied Studies, noting that as a Federal Government owned Agency, NABTEB certification is recognized all over the world.
In his remarks, the Rector of the school, Dr. Mark Ighile, while expressing his appreciation to the State Coordinator for the collaboration; stated that by the partnership, School of Basic and Applied Studies can now run the modular certification programme, O’ Level and A’ Level programmes as applicable to staff, students, and the outside community.
