GOAL: To produce technically competent manpower to meet the National requirement in the areas of film and television
production.
OBJECTIVES: A product of NID in film and television production should be able to:
- Prepare costume and make – up actors,
- Identify and operate equipment used in film and television production,
- Perform basic directing, producing and editing,
- Produce technically good films and television productions.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONAL INNOVATIVE DIPLOMA IN FILM & TELEVISION PRODUCTION
The general entry requirements for the NID programme are:
- Post Secondary School Leavers with 5 Credit level passes in SSCE or equivalent, who are desirous of acquiring relevant employable skills.
- Unemployed or under-employed graduates looking for requisite employable skills. c) Employed graduates who desire relevant or additional working skills. d) Those out of school for a long time, in line with Government desire for open access to reskilling and upskilling of the nations workforce as part of Life Long Learning (LLL).
