Dr. I.M. Omoruyi.

Dr. Omoruyi is the current Head Information and Communication Technology Unit of the School an arm of the Institution that is charged with the responsibility of developing, implementing and supporting Information Systems, Facilities and Applications to support the Academic and Administrative processes of the School. The Centre also provides access to ICT resources for Research and Development.

Dr. Matthew Omoruyi is a young, vibrant and dynamic lecturer/researcher. He holds a BSc. (First Class Hons.) degree in Microbiology from Benson Idahosa University, an MSc. from the University of Benin and a Ph.D. from the University of Helsinki, Finland.

Dr. Omoruyi is passionate about local research, but with global impact, he is a recipient of over 15 scholarly awards, grants and fellowships, an associate editor of two highly prestigious international journals, and authored over 30 scientific publications in journals with high impact factor.

He is a member of the prestigious Nigerian Young Academy, Society of Toxicology (USA), Society for Applied Microbiology (UK) amongst others.

Dr. Chamberlain Chinsom. Egbulefu

Dr. Chamberlain Chinsom. Egbulefu is the Head, Quality Assurance Unit of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies. Dr. Chamberlain earned his Diploma and B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria Nsukka 1989 and 1995 respectively. After his youth service, Dr. . Chamberlain worked as an Executive Officer with the Nasarawa State Ministry of Education Lafia. He later obtained M.Sc. and PhD. Degrees in Mass Communication from Benue State University, Makurdi in 2006 and 2017 respectively. His area of interest is in Public Relations and Advertising.
He taught at the Diploma Programme of Benue State University, Makurdi in 2006 to 2008 and a Facilitator at the International Institute of Journalism Abuja in 2006 to 2009. He was also a Facilitator at the National Open University of Nigeria in 2007 to 2009, from where he joined Benson Idahosa school of Basic and Applied Studies. He is happily married with four children.

Mr. Edomwonyi Ferrari Omorogbe

Mr. Omorogbe is the current Head of Remedial and Vocational Studies Unit of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies. He hails from Ikpoba-okha Local Government Area herein Benin City, Edo State. Until his appointment, he has been a Lecturer of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies and a graduate of the University of Benin, Benin City where he bagged a B.Ed. (Hons) English and Literature (1992) which he followed with Master of Arts in English and Literature also from the University of Benin (2000). He has attended the Literary Association of Nigeria 16th-19th November, 2010; the International Conference of Semiotics Studies, Benson Idahosa University, December 3rd-5th, 2010; and the International Conference on Literature Gombe State University, 1st-5th November, 2013. The Head of this Unit is a devout Christian and He is Happily Married with Kids.

Mr. Chukwuma Daniel Ezirim

Mr. Ezirim is the current Head of General Studies, GNS Unit of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies; and also doubles as the school’s Orator. He hails from Fegge Onitsha, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Anambra State. Until his appointment, he has been a Lecturer of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies and a graduate of the Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State where he bagged a B.A in English (1996) which was followed with Master Arts in English from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (2001). He has attended the 17th Conference of Linguistic Association of Nigeria (LAN) ABU, Zaria, November, 8th-13th, 1999; the International Conference of Systematic Functional Linguistic Association of Nigeria (STSFLAN) Abu Zaria, 2nd-6th August, 2004; and the International Conference of Semiotics Studies, Benson Idahosa University, December 3rd-5th, 2010. The Head of GNS Unit is a devout Christian and He is Happily Married with Kids
