Mr Ojete, Elijah Ndidi
Mr Ojete, Elijah Ndidi is a lecturer and Head of the Department of Film and Television Production in Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
He holds B.A and M.A. degrees in Mass Communication from Delta State University, Abraka and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with research focus on development of journalism.
He started his lecturing career at the Igbinedion University, okada in 2005 and lectures in the Department of Mass Communication, Benson Idahosa University (BIU), Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. In BIU, he had served in different administrative capacities including being the sub-head of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences (2014-2016).
For these past years, Mr Ojete has taught courses such as: Theories of Mass Communication, Specialized Reporting, Critical and Review Writing, News Writing and Reporting, Science and Technology Reporting, Community Journalism, Book Publishing, Magazine Writing and Production, Mass Media Ethics, Principles of Public Relations, Multinational Advertising, Writing for the Mass Media and Editorial/Opinion Writing, Development Communication. Introduction to Writing and Scenario Development, Cinematography, Sound, Technical Arts, etc.
