THE MISSION AND VISION of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies flows from its divine mandate, which was God’s word spoken to its founder. His vision was to raise up an army of professionals and academics who would go in Christ’s name to the ends of the world with the fire of the Holy Ghost to impart truth by precept and example.

Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies aspires to be a model for “academic excellence with Godliness” and will be distinguished by high performance in interdisciplinary research, addressing national and international problems, eliminating wrong behavioral patterns among students and becoming a store house of knowledge to be used for the benefit of mankind on Christian ethical principles. We are designed to change the nation and the continent by changing one student’s life at a time.

We perform these functions by judiciously utilizing current Information and Communication Technology, networking with similar institutions worldwide, putting people first in our operation, and emphasizing Christian ethical values.
